    Gino Canori Oversees Mix-income and Mixed-use California Developments

    Gino Canori serves as the executive vice president and chief development officer at Related California in San Francisco. The firm is a prolific developer of mixed-use and mixed-income properties in high-barrier urban infill markets across California. In addition to other responsibilities, Gino Canori manages a $3 billion development pipeline comprising 500,000 square feet of commercial space and over 2,000 residential units.

    In the San Francisco market, Mr. Canori has applied his industry acumen to guide the development of affordable housing and mixed-income projects with a focus on fostering community. He and his team have collaborated with community agencies such as the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation to design hundreds of apartments in mixed-income high-rises. His firm has also developed mixed-income apartment complexes. The Mason on Mariposa in Potrero Hill is one example, with affordable units making up 20 percent of its total space.

    Mr. Canori also belongs to numerous organizations that concentrate on professional excellence and community-building. Among other affiliations, he is a member of the Lusk Center for Real Estate at the University of Southern California and sits on the policy advisory board of the Urban Land Institute.

    Gino Canori earned an undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Southern California and began his real estate development career at Carmel Partners in Newport Beach. He has worked with Related California since 2001, at which time he joined the company as a project manager.
